Audits?

It's been 52 days since Patricia Slavick's campaign manager filed a Freedom of Information (FOIL) request for Mike Conners's audits -- 52 days and counting. And still no audits.

So if it takes this long to find his own work, how long does it take to find someone else's? Or longer still, something complex? Or still longer, something that someone's trying to hide?

Could it be that our 'watchdog' doesn't read his own website?

At http://www.albanycounty.com/departments/comptroller/ next to a 20-year old photo of the man:

Mission
The County Comptroller is the people’s watchdog. The office provides oversight and leadership into the financial affairs of Albany County. The Comptroller is the County’s chief financial officer, conducting departmental audits and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of information about the County’s finances.

...gosh, Mike, you want to update that now...?
